AI Tip of the Day: Tell It What Not to Do

Most people only tell AI what they want. Try adding what you don't want too.

Instead of just "Write an email announcing my new bundle," try: "Write an email announcing my new bundle. Don't use hype words like 'amazing' or 'game-changing.' Don't use exclamation points. Don't make it longer than 150 words."

That second list, the "don't" list, does more work than people expect. It closes off the generic directions AI tends to default to, which means less editing for you afterward.

Try this today: take a prompt you use often and add two or three things you don't want in the output. See how much closer round one gets you.

PLR/AI Tip: The "Ready-to-Go" Test

Before you buy or publish any PLR, ask yourself one question: could I use this right now without major edits?

If the honest answer is "I'd need to spend half a day fixing the writing" or "I'd have to redesign this from scratch," it wasn't actually the time-saver it was sold as. That's not PLR doing its job, that's a second project wearing a PLR costume.

Run this test on your PLR folder this week. Anything that fails it either needs a real revision pass or needs to go. Sitting there half-used isn't saving you anything.

The thread connecting both: know what you're filtering out. A good "don't" list makes AI output better. A good "ready-to-go" test keeps your PLR folder from turning into digital clutter.
